Mystics hold off Dream, move into tie for final playoff spot

The Washington Mystics kept their playoff hopes alive with an 85-80 victory over the Atlanta Dream on Tuesday night.
The Mystics (14-19) moved into a tie with the Dream (14-19) for the eighth and final playoff spot in the WNBA standings.
Shatori Walker-Kimbrough led the Mystics with 23 points off the bench, while Elena Delle Donne added 21 points and 10 rebounds.
The Dream were led by Tiffany Hayes' 22 points, but it wasn't enough to overcome the Mystics' hot shooting.
The Mystics shot 50 percent from the field, including 9-of-19 from three-point range.
The Dream shot just 38.5 percent from the field, including 5-of-20 from three-point range.
The Mystics also outrebounded the Dream 37-28.
The Mystics will be back in action on Thursday night when they host the Indiana Fever.
The Dream will be back in action on Friday night when they host the Connecticut Sun.
