Colorado Cornerback Ready To Make A Statement

Shilo Sanders Is Ready to Light Up the Big 12

Colorado Cornerback Ready to Make a Statement

"I'm just ready to go out there and show everybody what's up."

That's the message from Colorado cornerback Shilo Sanders ahead of his team's Big 12 showdown against Texas. The Buffaloes are looking to make a statement in their first season in the conference, and Sanders is confident that he and his teammates are up to the challenge.

"We're excited for the opportunity to play against some of the best teams in the country," Sanders said. "We've been working hard all offseason, and we're ready to show everybody what we're made of."

Sanders is a rising star in the college football world. The son of NFL Hall of Famer Deion Sanders, Shilo has already shown flashes of his father's talent. Last season, Sanders recorded 3 interceptions and 11 pass breakups. He also returned a punt for a touchdown.

With his combination of speed, athleticism, and instincts, Sanders is a nightmare for opposing offenses. He's the kind of player who can change the game with one big play.

The Buffaloes will need Sanders to be at his best against Texas. The Longhorns have one of the most potent offenses in the country, led by quarterback Quinn Ewers and running back Bijan Robinson.

But Sanders is confident that he and his teammates can slow down the Longhorns. "We're a confident group," Sanders said. "We know we have what it takes to win."

The Buffaloes and Longhorns will square off on Saturday, September 10th at Folsom Field in Boulder, Colorado.
