Murray beats Nikoloz Basilashvili to secure Wimbledon singles return
Three-time Grand Slam champion Andy Murray secured a dramatic four-set victory over 24th seed Nikoloz Basilashvili in the first round of Wimbledon on Monday.
The 35-year-old Scot, who is playing in his first singles match at Wimbledon since 2017, lost the first set 6-4 but rallied to win the next three sets 6-3, 6-2, 6-4.
Murray, who is now ranked 52nd in the world, will face either James Duckworth or Liam Broady in the second round.
