Sheldon Keefe, a hockey player and coach hailing from Brampton, Ontario, has made an indelible mark on the sport.
Born on September 17, 1980, Keefe's journey began in the Central Canadian Hockey League (CCHL), where he established himself as a coaching force to be reckoned with. As coach of the Pembroke Lumber Kings, he shattered team records with a remarkable 285-95-12 record, securing himself as the most successful coach in the team's history.
Keefe's exceptional coaching abilities soon caught the attention of the hockey world. In 2015, he joined the Toronto Maple Leafs organization as an assistant coach, and in 2019, he took over as the team's head coach. Under Keefe's guidance, the Maple Leafs have become a formidable force in the NHL, consistently posting impressive records.
