Michael Clifford was born on November 20, 1995, in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. His musical journey began at a young age when he started playing guitar.
In late 2011, Clifford co-founded the pop rock band 5 Seconds of Summer (5SOS) alongside Luke Hemmings, Calum Hood, and Ashton Irwin.
Success with 5 Seconds of Summer
5SOS quickly gained popularity with their catchy melodies and energetic live performances. The band has released five studio albums that have topped charts worldwide and sold over 8 million units.
